I study Near Eastern Cultures from the Bronze Age time period; primarily the cultures of the Anatolian plateau. I intend to pursue an advanced degree in Ancient Near Eastern Studies. Currently, I am researching the relationship between the Lydian language and its Proto-Indo-European relatives in the Anatolian region, with guidance from Dr. John Justeson & Dr. Craig Melchert.

Lab Research with Dr. Christopher Wolff
February 2018 - Present
Research on Endblades and Asymmetric Knives from the Groswater and Dorset Arctic peoples. Research includes analyzing stone tools from both cultures to examine relationship between these cultures as well as those from the surrounding Newfoundland area.
Albany Field School
Summer 2018
Field work analyzing late-18th century slave life at Ten Broeck Mansion and Thomas Elkins' house. Purpose of field work was to examine slave life and the presence of the Underground Railroad in Albany. Field work included excavation, artifact analysis, site mapping, and soil profiling.
